Our region is joining forces to help sponsor another great opportunity for those who are looking to earn their Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International. Beginning Friday, April 14th, 2023, through Friday, May 26th, 2023, Rudy Mendoza, CPP will facilitate a virtual CPP study review course via Zoom from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (PT). The first session will cover an introduction to the CPP Program, the process of developing a study plan, and the CPP application process. Participants will then study on their own each week and return every Friday to receive a review of the study material from the facilitators using ASIS International’s proprietary CPP study material. At the end of all sessions, participants will be given time to ask questions if they have any.
The CPP is the globally recognized “gold standard” certification for security management professionals that measures knowledge and competency in seven broad domains of security management. This CPP study review course is a program designed by ASIS International’s Education Team, along with subject matter experts from around our industry to help members increase their success when studying for their CPP. This program is exclusively made available to regional Chapters and their members as a benefit of being part of ASIS International and your local Chapter. Each participant will need to purchase the Student Materials on their own: which are found on the ASIS Book Store, and includes a CPP Review Study Manual. The cost of these materials is approximately $199.00 plus S&H. Certification Study Resources (asisonline.org). The registration fee for the CPP study review course is $50.00.
